Sewing Machine Cover

I chose my sewing machine cover because it was the project I worked my hardest on and what I’m most proud of. I started by sewing small rectangles/squares together randomly, this was hard because I had to seam rip or guess where to end to add the next piece. Embroidering all of the state borders was a very time consuming process, it took close to 20 hours total. I was worried about ripping our my embroidery when I took the paper off, but luckily nothing came up. I would tell them to stick to just one color for the background, and to make sure you can see the embroidery thread. I’m planning on cutting our the map and sewing the edges so that I can put it in a frame for Ms. B. I’m doing this becasue I don’t know what I would do with it if I took it home.

(I will add a photo of me with it later)

You should be proud of this Natalie! You did a beautiful job. I love it that you are going to frame it and give it to Miss B. What a wonderful addition to her classroom.
