Favorite Sewing Project — T-Shirt Quilt

I made a t-shirt quilt from all of my golf shirts. I didn’t use a pattern or or a website. I used the amount of shirts I had to figure out how I wanted to lay everything out. I’m really happy with how it turned out, I wish I would’ve had enough time to finish it completely, but I’m happy that I got the front done. I was able to fit all the shirts I wanted and I was able to embroider some of the team’s  ‘golf sayings’ too. If I was to do this again or if someone was to do this I would’ve made sure that all my squares and rectangles were actually the right size so that the rows would be straight when I sewed them together. For this level of a quilt I would say your skill level should be skilled or advanced. It was difficult to do and there are a lot of things that are hard to line up to ensure that they are straight.
