I read the book “The Testing” for my choice reading, I got about half way through it. It took me awhile to get into the book, because it seemed a lot looked the hunger games series. It wasn’t a bad book but the author took the first couple chapters to describe everything, before getting into the plot. This made it hard to want to keep reading it. I think the author did a great job of writing it was just to much description to keep me wanting to read it.
I think I would recommend this book to a reader who wants to read the hunger games but doesn’t want the blood and other stuff. I think they would like it because it would be easier for them to read, and they don’t have to have the goriness of the hunger games. If they did read it I would tell them it might talk awhile to get into it, they most likely like it.
