I said I was going to play in high school about three weeks before high school started. I had never played before and didn’t know what I was getting into. At my first 18 hole meet I shot 180, which is horrible. I kept with it and I’ve been to the State Championship with my team all four years. We’ve been district runner up the past three years, and I placed 5th this year. My team and I won the Class C Girls Golf State Championship this year. I never thought that would ever happen and I’m so proud of my girls, it was a shock to all of us. I shot a 93 at State, a new personal best, and I averaged an 100.1 through this season. I hope to continue playing in college next year, and all of my life.
