Between bible verses, my book and many other’s books I learned a lot about adversities and how people react differently. First I learned from all the books how everyone have different adversities and everyone reacts to an adversity differently. From my book The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Nighttime I learned that every person reacts to an adversity differently. Christopher had a mental disability and he needed help, while his father was good with him and helped Christopher, his mother wasn’t so great she wasn’t as patient and yelled at him. This showed in other book also.
From other books I heard about people thought that their adversity was the normal, and thought that was how things worked. However when they say other people’s lives they realize how hard or different theirs was. This was shown in the book Elenor and Park when Elenor’s family abused her and she thought that was normal but when she saw Parks family she realized how different her family was.
Overall I learned a lot about adversity and how people react to those adversities. Some people may be good with adversities and work through them while others freak out and run from them. Other people grow up with adversity and think that is how everyone grew up and they just live with it. Others know they are going to face an adversity and are ready to face it like in warriors don’t care when she goes to a white school knowing she is going to be made fun of.
